Dr. Owen Perlman, M.D.
Education: Dr. Owen Z. Perlman has a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He served his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Experience/Specialty: Dr. Perlman has extensive experience as a physiatrist working in rehabilitation. He specializes in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurologic illness and catastrophic injury. He is an attending physician at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the former president of the Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a recipient of the Professional Achievement Award from the BIA of Michigan. Dr. Perlman is the former medical director of the Joyce M. Massey Traumatic Brain Injury Day Treatment Service and director of all physical medicine and rehabilitation programs and services at St. Joseph Mercy Health System.
