Rehabilitation Assistant
Status/Location
Full and part time positions available on day, afternoon and midnight shifts at several area
Washtenaw, Wayne and Oakland County facilities.
Introduction
Duties range widely by population (e.g., behavioral, transitional, semi-independent, medical). Behavioral, transitional and semi-independent patient care duties involve active participation in patient therapies and assisting the patient with daily program procedures, corrective teaching, passing medication, accessing the community, general ADLs and other duties as assigned. Medical care duties generally involve more comprehensive ADLs including patient bathing, grooming, transferring, feeding, passing medications, checking vitals, attending physician appointments, general health monitoring and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
No prior experience required. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking practical experience in the health or human services fields.
          Must have a current valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Salary Grade
$9-$10/hour to start
