



Functional Recovery provides the following services through our professional therapy staff:
Occupational Therapy (OT) — Occupational Therapy provides skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. An OT helps individuals with the "skills for the job of living" - necessary for independent and satisfying lives. OT activities include skills necessary to perform work, home, school and community tasks.
Physical Therapy (PT) — Physical Therapy provides skilled treatment of physical dysfunction or injury through the use of therapeutic exercise and the application of modalities intended to restore or facilitate normal function or development, PTs help individuals increase strength and mobility and improve balance deficits.
Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) — Speech Language Pathology provides skilled treatment, prevention, diagnosis, habilitation and rehabilitation of communication, swallowing, or other upper aerodigestive disorders, elective modification of communication behaviors, and the enhancement of communication. SLPs work toward improving communication, cognitive and linguistic skills and evaluate and improve hearing and swallowing abilities.

Home Modification Evaluations — There are many different housing options available after sustaining a traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury. Find out if home modification is the right option for you by going through Functional Recovery’s evaluation process.
We can coordinate Independent Rehabilitation Evaluations (IRE’s) at competitive rates.
Work site Assessments — A work site assessment determines the demands involved in a particular role and evaluates the suitability of a job for an individual. Community reentry (work, school, recreation, etc.) Functional Recovery will work with clients on re-entering the workforce, school and community activies.
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCEs) is a coordinated service available for clients who have sustained a traumatic injury. An FCE determines the level of the brain or spinal cord injury measuring motor skills, social skills and physical ability.
