Created by pediatric rehabilitation specialists, the After School and Saturday programs were developed to meet the needs of children and teens with brain injuries. They provide structure through group or individual therapies, individual tutoring, group academic support, recreational activities and social skills training.

The program builds the following:

  • Self-esteem
  • Increased behavioral control
  • Therapeutic learning
  • Age-appropriate social interactions
  • Increased development of motor skills
  • Improved memory and attention to task
  • Improved academic skills
  • Safety awareness
  • Development and maintenance of friendships
