For children and adolescents living in their own homes, Rainbow's Outpatient and Day Treatment Programs provide a flexible way to receive all the benefits of comprehensive rehabilitation. Prescribed outpatient services are available, such as: physical therapy, occupational therapy, mental health therapy, speech-language therapy and recreational therapy (available in half and full days) — see Active Transitional Therapy for more information.

We have tutoring services and a study hall run by a certified special education teacher. Rainbow offers an After School program Monday thru Thursday and an all-day Saturday program during the school year. During the summer, we offer two Summer Fun! full-day programs for school-age children and teens, as well as young adult programming throughout the year. Personalized programming is also available to meet your child's individual needs.

We welcome children from ages 5 to 18-plus years. To promote social interaction and relationship building, children can be paired with peers who have similar needs and goals. The focus of the program ranges from active treatment and recovery to social interaction and recreational, vocational and quality of life activities.
