Returning to work is a goal for many people who have been injured. Pursuing vocational rehabilitation can make all the difference, particularly when cognitive functions or physical abilities are altered.
At Rainbow, we provide a continuum of vocational rehabilitation services with varying levels of support for persons who have sustained a brain injury, spinal cord injury, or other neuro-trauma or orthopedic injuries. The Vocational Rehabilitation Program is multi-faceted and holds a medical rehabilitation CARF accreditation in vocational services with a sub-specialty in brain injury.
In order to help our clients enter or re-enter the work community successfully, we’ve established a comprehensive vocational program for adults and teens. Many of our clients earn a wage working at our sheltered workshops or in area businesses that share our recognition that everyone has something to contribute to the community.
Jobs and training program areas include administrative work, light assembly, hospitality, customer service, manufacturing, warehousing, sales, recycling, landscaping, farming, vehicle detailing and packaging.
