We’re pleased to announce that we have once again been accredited by CARF International for a period of three years in the following Medical Rehabilitation program areas and we hold specialty accreditation in the area of Brain Injury:
- Residential Rehabilitation Program for Adults and Pediatric Specialty Program
- Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Program for Adults and Pediatric Specialty Program
- Home & Community Services for Adults and Children & Adolescents
- Vocational Services
Rainbow received its first three-year accreditation in 1989 and has maintained this accreditation every year since. This latest Three-Year Accreditation will be Rainbow’s ninth consecutive.
This acknowledgement by CARF represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a rehabilitation organization and demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that our programs and services are of the highest possible quality.
An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. The review team, made up of industry professionals from across the United States, assesses approximately 2,500 standards against the company’s programs and processes.
In its final report to Rainbow, CARF wrote, “Rainbow enjoys a well-deserved reputation for providing valuable services to persons following brain injury. Its leadership and personnel demonstrate commitment and a passion for excellence that facilitates the successful attainment of outcomes for the persons served.”
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
